Treat the generated assembly as the answer
Optimization & Cleanup rebuilds the project with the selected optimization rules, then audits the result. It does not merely round the displayed dimensions.
- Review corrections: Check normalized dimensions, moved stations, and any constraints BenchCAD could not satisfy exactly.
- Review material savings: Confirm shared carcass panels, full-run top stretchers, and face-frame merges only where they match how the bench will be assembled.
- Inspect the final schedule: Use the generated part count and dimensions as the source for export and downstream handoff.
Cabinet drawer stretchers stay cabinet-specific
Full-run stretcher optimization applies to top front and rear stretchers. Intermediate drawer stretchers and separators remain tied to their cabinet bay and drawer elevation, even when shared carcass sides are enabled.
