When cabinet-storage bases require CabCAD
BenchCAD native bases stand alone, but cabinet-storage bases are powered by CabCAD.
Access rule
The cabinet-storage base uses CabCAD cabinet-run, cabinet-style, opening, toe-kick, and shared-carcass rules. It therefore requires access to both BenchCAD and CabCAD.
BenchCAD-native trestle, open-shelf, and metal-frame bases remain available with BenchCAD alone.
Saved projects
A cabinet base has a project default plus per-cabinet overrides for supported construction choices such as drawer separators. Expanded cabinet rows show inherited state and a Reset to project default action.
